Our Employee Spotlight gives us the opportunity to individually highlight all of the remarkable people that make the Wide River Winery experience incredible. Speaking of those remarkable people, have you met Jack Baxter?
Jack works at our LeClaire tasting room and can be found most Saturdays alongside Heidi keeping the wine flowing and the conversation going! Jack’s customers are always complimenting him on his impeccable hospitality, service and above all his electric personality that you are sure to notice the second you meet him. Whether he’s attending to one person or a packed house, Jack will always make sure that you are taken care of.
When he’s not helping customers, Jack serves as the main go to tech guy in LeClaire. He most recently updated the sound system for the tasting room! Cementing his place in the LeClaire tasting room building’s rich history, Jack was also part of the crew that helped in the recent remodel of the tasting room.
Outside of Wide River, Jack is hard at work as a full time student pursuing his doctorate. His favorite wine is Search and Seizure Sangria!
