Our Employee Spotlight gives us the opportunity to individually highlight all of the remarkable people that make the Wide River Winery experience incredible. This Employee spotlight we would like to focus on three outstanding rockstars who have been with Wide River Winery for over 10 years: Sarah, Bud, and Jimmy!
Sarah Petersen is the lead wine host of the Clinton tasting room and has an incredible knowledge of wine, food, and the local music scene. Customers praise Sarah for her calm, upbeat attitude and the fun atmosphere she creates inside the tasting room and out. The chef of Wide River Winery, Sarah makes the tasty bites for all three tasting rooms and is always coming up with a new delicious recipe. An avid bicyclist, Sarah enjoys travel and can give you the best recommendations for food and fun experiences.
Bud Farach wears several hats at the Clinton Winery. Most days you can find her pruning in the vineyard, tending to the flowers that decorate the tasting room inside and out, or caring for the River Lodge. She also works in the tasting room and gives incredibly informative, fun vineyard tours. In her spare time, Bud cares for her two horses and is actively involved in the Clinton Show Boat.
Jimmy Grogh can be found in the back of the tasting room, blending, filtering and bottling our delicious, award winning wines.A beer enthusiast at heart, Jimmy has put his passion and creativity into winemaking and continues to perfect his craft every day. When not at the winery, Jimmy loves nature and goes camping with his family as much as possible.
